Single Releases:

In the Hall of the Mountain King

A fun “round the world” version of Edward Grieg’s 1875 classic from the Peer Gynt Suite.

Discount Relaxation (Narrated by Tamara McDaniel)

I composed and recorded this back in 2012, with Tamara McDaniel in mind to do the narration.  She did an amazing job!  This pokes a bit of light-hearted fun at guided meditations and even my own Mental Sauna music.

Here to Stay

I composed this song on July 4th, 2000.  It only took a couple hours to complete and was based on the haunted apartment I lived in at the time in Phoenix, AZ.

Awful Playground

Originally written as a demo for a music library I never heard back from, I thought I should put it out into the world. Perfect for a spooky background.

Through the Eyes of a Stalker

A friend of mine was worried for her safety after going out on a single date with a guy. She didn’t feel the spark, but he wouldn’t let it go. She would come home to find him hiding in the bushes outside her house. As a writer, I started to wonder what could be going on in his head. Waiting, maybe for hours, out in the cold, for her to come home. This is my musical interpretation

Mental Sauna III: Christmas Inflections Bonus Track

Recorded after the release of the album but certainly has a place among those songs.

I Didn’t Hear You Leave

An instrumental of loss and emptiness.

Left Behind

The aftermath of “I Didn’t Hear You Leave.”

Dear Grandpa 7-5-2020

This is the combined story of my relationship with my two grandfathers.  That have both passed and have, of course, left a void.  There will be a video Behind the Sing story coming soon but the sing is available now.

Bring The Sun 7-25-2020

This was the 173rd song I wrote (August 2004) and originally appeared as a bonus track on the Twist of Fate album.  It was also the second song I composed that made it to the radio.  Written for a dear friend about the joy she added to every day.  Certainly, we could all celebrate in joy these days.

This version contains the original vocal (yes, that’s me!) and drum tracks.  I also played live guitar and was fortunate enough to have Michael Macpherson play the guitar solo for me.  Check him out at his site
