I'm back in it again

Like I feel I've always been

But did I ever leave?

Did the wallpaper change?

Did the carpet move?

Did the pictures always stare that way?

Someone is looking in at me

Throught the dark tinted pane at me

I scream for him to go

But he can't hear me

The glass is too think

So he just grins

And the nightmare returns

When I close my eyes at night

I can hear him laughing at me

I don't see any way out

No matter how hard I search

He has taken everything I have

And everyone I need around me

He leaves me emptiness to hold

As I watch this bad dream unfold

Then I see his horrid face appear

Coming from darkness and getting to near

The stench of hatred all around

Suffocates my every thought

His evil cackle fills my head

Driven to the edge of sanity

He knows everything that I have done

And every second is a price to pay

He opens the window

Puts the stake through my heart

I gasp for breath

I Taste the blood on my tongue

Everything goes dark

And then I wake again

The nightmare returns

Tearing me from limb to limb

Says I have to pay for every sin

This is only the beginning

I'm the slave of his eternal bidding

Then I wake again

Clinging to the sweaty sheets

Have to find a way to stay awake

Before my mind just goes astray

Then I wake again
